Today I will be working with teachers during their planning periods to expose them to the magic of the Personal Learning Network via Twitter.
If you are an educator today, and you're not getting involved in a PLN, well - you are just missing the boat on this one.
Over the past three years, Twitter - and more importantly - my Personal Learning Network have been one of the driving forces behind my instruction. For the first time - I was able to get "plugged in" and information that I had been searching for began to come right to me. It was like instructional magic.
Today, I am a big believer in educators and administrators alike getting plugged in and creating their own PLN. That is what the "Getting Plugged In" professional development is all about.
